A recent OFSTED inspection of John Flamsteed Community School has highlighted many outstanding features including its care, guidance and support for its students and the promotion of the personal development and well-being of learners. A downloadable pdf of the OFSTED Report is available in File Downloads -> School Statistics and Data
The report states the school’s approach to removing barriers to learning is exceptional reflecting very effective partnership work with other agencies and parents. Students were particularly commended for their exemplary behaviour. In a letter to students from the inspector he informed them that he found them to be confident, polite and justifiably proud of their achievements. He also commented that students ‘feel safe, behave excellently, care for each other, attend regularly and lead healthy lives! Mr Holden, Headteacher at the school, said the school is delighted with the outcome of the inspection and in particular with the recognition in the report of the contribution of the whole school community including parents, teachers, students and governors in promoting the continued success of the school. |
