13th January - School Closure Statement |

Despite our best efforts we have been unable to make the school site safe for students today. The low overnight temperatures combined with freezing light drizzle resulted in treacherous conditions on the paths around school and surrounding roads. The caretakers tried valiantly to make the major paths accessible but were unable to do so. We will continue with our efforts throughout the day and hope to open as usual tomorrow. We will try to ensure that Y10 and Y11 students taking GCSE Science examinations are able to do so regardless of the situation for other students. Consequently these students should arrive in school at 8:45 am as normal. Parents should listen to RAM FM or visit the school website tomorrow morning for the latest information.
