For the third year, we have conducted our annual The JF Big Ask student survey, where, Senior and Middle Leaders met with all the students across the school in a mass student voice activity to glean their thoughts and feelings on what was working well at JF and where improvements needed to be made.
Following the previous JF Big Ask surveys, students were able to drive some changes in the school including configurations to the Science toilets, an enhanced lunchtime supervision rota, changes to the cafeteria food, introduction of a “Call it out” button on the website for reporting bullying or unkindness and the setting up of the Student Council to more regularly meet with the Senior Leadership Team to share ideas for improvements that they would like in their school.
Mrs Hilton recently fed back to students in assembly and we would like to share this recording with parents/carers so you can get a feel for what the children told us and how we are responding. You can find the video below:
